Evacuation and Operation Chicken Coop Update! Progress on all fronts. Firefighters are making progress and our house has not been affected by the fire. The chickens and I are grateful to Dave & Sue for lending us their coop! #gratefull #turnergulchfire

All right, a quick update. Operation Chicken Coop, we've got the coop. Chickens have been in it all night. They're out. They're happy. They're not in the trailer. It's amazing. An evacuation update. So firefighters have been working really, really hard up there. Our house has not been affected by the fire. We still are in that pre-evacuation stage, and so we'll stay here. Our animals are all kind of settling in, and it doesn't make sense for us to move back up if there's still a chance of having to leave again. So we'll be here until that evacuation notice has been lifted. But again, everyone is settling in. We're super, super grateful for this space and this time together and all of the work that's going on up there to take care of. She can pick up, literally.
