Happy #mindFULLMonday ✨ This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about control, timelines, and identity. I’m currently healing from an injury, and one of the hardest parts hasn’t been the injury itself. It’s been letting go of the timeline I had in mind. I had goals. I had plans. I had expectations for how things were supposed to unfold. And then I literally tripped on the path! Now I’m exploring how much of our (my) frustration comes from trying to control things that are ultimately outside of our control — especially timing. But it’s also made me ask a deeper question: ✨ If the goal changes... who do I still want to BE? ✨ If the timeline shifts... what version of myself am I committed to becoming? Because while I can’t control how quickly I heal, I can choose how I show up. I can choose patience over frustration (also not an easy choice). Trust over resistance. Grace over judgment. I can choose to recommit to my identity and the best version of myself, even when the outcome looks different than I imagined. The more I sit with it, the more I realize that goals are often just vehicles for growth. The goal may be delayed. The path may change. The timeline may be rewritten. But the opportunity to practice BEing the person we want to become is still right in front of us. So this week, I’m curious: 👇 ✨ Where are you holding tightly to a timeline? ✨ And how can you recommit to your identity and the best version of yourself, regardless of how or when things unfold? Because sometimes the real work isn’t achieving the goal... It’s continuing to become the person you want to be, even when life literally catapults you towards something different. #i💜publiclands

Hello and happy Mindful Monday. This is gonna be a little bit longer of a post because I have a story to share but early last week I kind of learned that one of the big goals I've been training for is not gonna happen in 2026 and for all of you who've been following you know kind of the work that has gone in and this goal was not just physical it was definitely putting in the work around mental and emotional yes the physical and spiritual sides of things for me to feel ready and excited and I've been doing the work and so when I got into the news that it wasn't gonna happen in 26 I was pretty upset and then we were running and I hit my toe in a rock, hyper extended my other leg and popped my hamstring so pulled my hamstring and that left me now in a place of confusion right like I've been this person who's working towards this goal for the last six months and really putting everything into it and now that goal is is gone or at least on the time frame that I was hoping and spent the whole next day after I pulled it just feeling guilty not guilty feeling just pity pity for myself and all the things sat on the couch eating lots of sugary foods watched binge watched all the things and then I realized that that is not the person I want to be and so you know the goal may have changed and we have a plan B now and I'm pretty excited about it which is helping me get out here on the trail moving definitely a lot slower and don't know how far up I'll actually get today in this recovery but I need to listen to my body at this point so yeah who are we when our goals change and how do we lean into that person that we want to be not just for the goal but for the goals are kind of like our carrot of actually becoming that person giving us that opportunity to practice and so I think that we learn or we keep receiving lessons until we learn them and I'm pretty tired of learning this one so hopefully I can take this time recommit not necessarily to the goal the goal has changed but the person I want to be to achieve any of these goals so that is my extra long mindful Monday would love to hear from you kind of if you had those setbacks and how you tied in maybe a shift of gold to actually the person and being that you want to become so I hope you have a very best week share my pretty view with you experience life fully and share it authentically
