Gratitude has been part of my daily practice for a few years now. But, this week (ish) my focus has shifted a bit. My aunt was riding her horse on her 70th birthday when he bucked and she broke her pelvis. Luckily I was already down on the front range getting ready to leave on a work trip. This meant that I was able to get to the hospital with the pie @danbenhorin made for her and to make sure she was ok. I left for South Caroline and she went into surgery. When I got back I stayed at her house to take care of her animals and help get things ready for her to come home and start her recovery. I was also planning on bringing her horses up to our home for the winter. Again, timing worked out perfectly and I was able to get the horses up and over 2 mountain passes with perfect weather and between storms…and just in time to be home with my amazing husband and crew for Thanksgiving. During my 5+ hour drive, I had a lot of time to reflect on how grateful I am for my life. But, I did not get here alone! So today I am especially grateful for the strong, caring, and powerful people that have supported me in finding my passions, pushed me to become confident and independent in achieving my goals and those that continue to inspire me to be a better person. Happy Thanksgiving! #grateful
