Happy #mindFULLMonday This week, I’ve been thinking about the power of words. Recently, my coach called me out on my use of the word BIG. Not because there was anything wrong with the word itself, but because of what happened inside me when I used it. A few days later, I caught myself talking about my own BIG goals for this summer. Physical goals. Mental goals. Emotional goals. And I noticed something interesting. The moment I labeled them as BIG, I felt smaller. I showed up differently. A little more intimidated. A little more in my head. A little more focused on proving myself than trusting myself. Instead of showing up authentically, curious, and open to what’s possible, I found myself reacting to the goal rather than simply taking the next step. It made me wonder how often the words we choose shape the way we experience our lives. How often do we create resistance before we’ve even begun? How often do our labels become limitations? So this week, I’m curious:👇 ✨ What word or words do you use that make you feel smaller, less capable, or less like yourself? ✨ And what word might better support you in showing up as the best version of yourself? Because sometimes (probably most of the time) the challenge isn’t the goal. Sometimes it’s the story a single word creates around it. And changing that story can change everything. #i💜publiclands

Hello and happy Mindful Monday. I'm here in the mountains where they're big and I feel small, but my coach actually called me out on this this week, you know, talking to him about kind of the intimidation I feel with even clients or potential clients that are doing big things in the world that have big impact and how I show up differently and I found myself saying it even about my adventures and my challenges and, you know, I think I said I had three big goals this year and we're already on plan B for one of them and I find myself in that same intimidation stage even with my physical, mental, emotional goals. When I use the story of something being big, I feel small and I act differently and I react, I guess, differently to things and overthink and the stories I tell myself are limiting and so as I'm here and I want to show you how amazing and big these peaks are, I am playing with the idea of how do I change my story because no matter where I'm going or what peak physically or metaphorically that I am climbing, it's still just the same process. It's still me showing up as the best version of myself and putting one foot in front of the other, literally in some cases, for forward progress and that I'm not separate from these big mountains. Like, I am part of it. This is part of my journey. So, my thought for you is what word or words do you use that kind of limit you or create that almost that fear or that feeling of imposter syndrome almost that kind of stops you versus that empowers you to be a part of it and just keep doing what you know how to do one step at a time. So, have a great week, experience it fully and share it authentically.
