Forced to slow down! How often do you ignore your bodies signals to slow down? I know I do and this weekend I took a big crash off of my bike and now I’m forced to slow down. It is a busy season where our self-care typically falls to the wayside. I encourage you to listen to your body and when needed, slowed down! A good technique to slow down is with your breath. Take a four count to inhale and eight counts to exhale. This helps slow things down and regulate your systems. let me know if it works for you 👇 #MindFULLMonday 🚴🏽♀️🪨

Hello and happy Snowy Mindful Monday. For those of you who have been with me for a while, you kind of know that my theme has been slow down and my body was telling me to slow down kind of earlier this month and I had some knee issues and then this weekend I took a pretty good crash on my bike. So I'm okay but sore and fell pretty hard on some rocks and it's my reminder that we need to listen to our bodies. So I know right now is a busy time of the year and if you are feeling overwhelmed and your body is trying to tell you to slow down, listen because it only gets louder and harder for us to catch up once we don't listen initially. So another thought I had for you all as we get into our busy season is that remember our breath can help us slow down. So an easy way to do that is in for four and exhale for eight. It helps reset our system and slow ourselves down and re-regulate everything. So I hope that you all have an awesome week and are able to slow down a bit and listen to your body. Happy Monday!
