Hate does not drive out hate, only light does that” - MLK Jr. After spending the weekend at @tedxvail and being inspired by 14 women that shared this idea (shining light on our darkness) while highlighting how their darkness drove their efforts in creating global change, it gives me hope! Hello, and happy Mindful Monday. It is Martin Luther King Jr. Day here, and I think my favorite quote from him goes something like, darkness does not drive out darkness, only light does. Hate does not drive out hate, only love does. And I was able to spend the weekend at TEDxVail Next with some amazingly inspiring women who really highlighted that, the darkness of their lives kind of inspired a lot of brightness, and they're now changing the world. I have a few links in my bio if you'd like to watch a few of the talks, and I'll just keep rotating them because they are amazing. And I know this could be a hard week, and so I wanted to just share that thought and quote from Martin Luther King, and would love to hear how you are hoping to shine some light in those dark places and do it with love.
