Happy #mindFULLMonday How often do you feel like you are living in fight, flight or freeze? It feels especially true over the last few weeks. As humans, we are fortunate enough to not have to live in this fight, fight or freeze response. Our brains have the capacity to process and rationalize. I encourage anyone who is feeling anxious right now to slow down process what’s really going on FOR YOU and respond in a way that aligns you with who you want to be in the situation.

Hello and happy Mindful Monday. I had this thought last week as I was riding Lulu out in the desert, probably because it had come from some of my coaching sessions too. This idea of chaos and creating this response for us to fight, flight, or freeze. Anyone who knows Lulu, she's a 1,200 pound horse who has no freeze in her. It's either fight or flight and so in those scary situations that feel uncertain, we're either running or we're fighting and I realized that I don't have to be that person in these situations. That I can be the human in this situation that uses the other part of my brain to slow down and make informed decisions. So my thought for you for this Mindful Monday is to slow down during this chaos and uncertainty and use into the front part of your brain to make decisions that feel good to you and know that long-term will be the direction that you're wanting to go even if you're feeling those fight, flight, or freeze responses right now. We have a choice. We as humans have a choice and have that consciousness to choose. So I hope you have a great week and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
